 SBOND 588TM  RTV Silicone Gasket Maker is a fast cure RTV Gasket Maker.It remains

pliable and flexible and is designed to seal flanges, threaded connections and  fasteners  at  temperatures from -45 °C to +315 °C. It can be effectively applied to cork, paper, plastic and metal surfaces.Typical applications

sealing gaskets;

flanges and threaded connections;

aircraft heating systems;

manifolds;

pipefittings;

steam lines;

gear boxes and cover plates.

Directions for use1. Clean and dry all surfaces.2. Apply SBOND 5972™ onto both surfaces and spread with spatula or putty knife.3. Assemble parts immediately while still wet. Secure or tighten to recommended torque specifications.4. Allow 3 to 5 hours before using equipment.5. Re-torque will not be necessary after the product has cured.

StorageStore product in the unopened container in a dry location. Storage information may be indicated on the product container labeling.Optimal Storage:  8 °C to 21 °C.  Storage below 8 °C or greater than 28 °C can adversely affect product properties.
